Fall/Winter 2013 Trend Report II: Burgundy Bags

Happy Monday! I loved that the first fall/winter report got so many hits and positive feedback so I thought I should share my thoughts about another trend today. For all the fashion enthusiasts it is common knowledge that last fall was all about burgundy. Therefore, we are stunned to see burgundy making a comeback after merely one year! Was it the fact that most of us bought bordeaux pieces last October like crazy people? Or was it brought back in order to highlight the color of this season: powder pink? Either way, I'm buying burgundy this fall, big time!

Now, what should you invest in? I thought a lot about it, and I would advise you to go for bags. It's not only the fact that this shade makes any bag look like a statement item, it's also because you can wear it regardless of the season, weather and trends. I just love this Samsonite bag, you can find it online for a great price using this Koffer24 Coupon Code.  A bordeaux Marc Jacobs watch would be a great investment as well.

On my wishlist you can find another wine-colored bag I adore, from Kipling (see collage below). Which one do you like more? I'm tempted to choose it because of the incredible discount I can get using a Kipling Coupon Code. Either way, they are both perfect for a busy teenager like me, I can see myself taking them to school, gym, shopping sessions, on road trips. And I think we can all agree they would both go perfectly with these gorgeous Nike Sky Dunk Hi , I've  been dreaming of getting a pair for a couple months, I'm just not sure I should take the plunge.

Will you buy brand new burgundy items this fall, or you'll just recycle from the last winter season?

    Seasonal transition

It's that time of the season: when you have to switch to other types of clothes and adapt to the new trends and weather conditions. For some reason, I have the biggest crush on my Zara full skirt, everything about it is perfect!! Therefore, you'll spot me on the street wearing it with different sweaters these days, even if the skirt was meant to be worn only in the summer season. Even mom was sketiptical when I told her I want to mix such different textures, but she agreed with me in the end. There's something great about wearing nothing but a cool loose sweater on early September.

Now , what about the song I recommend? It seemed like the perfect choice to highlight this new fall trend I've just read about in Vogue UK : "Opposites Attract: When summer's pastels and autumnal tones meet." Imagine how excited I was to see this a few hours ago as it turns out my outfit (sort of) represents this new trend.  Okay, I may have only one autumnal tone: the auburn colored bag- but it makes such a bold statement! Plus, I think this whole look kind of has a "I'm still deciding whether it's summer or autumn" vibe.

What do you think about this trend- have you been wearing color combos and different textures at a start of a new season before?

    Bows & Python Print

Oh my, I am late once AGAIN, but I'm having a really rough time! School is tough, not unbearable, but I don't really know how to manage my time as I am currently learning for my university exam. I know I won't start uni in less than 2 years but I have a huuuge amount to learn and I am actually enjoying it! On top of everything, all my devices are having a breakdown! Computer? Gone. Laptop? Bye bye. Camera? Don't even mention it!

Therefore, I have to manage only with my phone and Ipad and I ocassionally borrow my dad's laptop. You can see now , I hope, why it takes me so much time to post and how sad I am of this crazy pace! Anyways, let's focus on the outfit a little!

I've always wanted this kind of loose pants for school, similar to some harem pants yet super stylish and comfy! My aunt surprised me with this pair from French Connection. Needless to say, it was love at first sight and I love how easy is for me to match them with pretty much everything in my closet! I've been dying to show you my fancy bow sweater and my python bag! I mentioned the python bag in a recent interview, I bought it from Florence and I love it so so so much!!!

Back to the sweater I love it how it's so feminine and cute, totally my style! I don't usually match my sweater with my bag, don't worry, but I really loved this combination! Also, the flatforms are really the most perfect pair of shoes for a teen if you ask me: we all fancy an extra inch even if we're on the run!

Love you all so much, I hope you haven't forgotten!

    The goofy scarf

  • I'm in the best mood ever! I had an amazing Saturday night, with new and old friends, a lovely decor and I have laughed and laughed and laughed!!! It's a good thing to meet such creative and smart people and to feel alright, it just inspires you.

About the pictures, that's what I wore at a Christmas party. It was cold outside and I needed a scarf. All I could found was this old piece of fabric which I have had ever since I was 10. I think it's kind of funny, it definitely cathes your eye even though it's not fashionable at all!

Did it happen to you, to find one old item and reinvent it?

  • Before I start the real post let me ask you one more time: Have you entered the amazing, incredible & unique giveaway I am hosting yet? You'd better, because we are close to an end!

In other news, I am freezing in my little town! The weather might seem okay in the photos, but oh..the things I do for the blog...For real, I barely can wear anything but UGG since Friday, when I attended the most awesome prom(and I wore some killer shoes) and not to mention my big , fluffy , white coat.  I look like an Eskimo, a very cute one though haha.

But, you see, I couldn't take the coat on, I mean I LOVE my bow sweater from Zara and it's so much fun to play around the close tone. The boots from Bata are also very comfy, not fashionable, but comfy, and that is exactly what my feet need right now:

    Sweater: Zara
    Top: Zara
    Pants: H&M
    Socks: Zara
    Boots: Bata
    Necklace: Orsay

  • Ah, I'm in such a rush lately, but I have decided to keep you updated as much as I can. This is my new lovely great coat, from Kookai, and I love it! Of course, I was running out of time and my cousin only snapped couple pictures (these in the post are literary the only ones!), but I had to show it.

Therefore, excuse the effects and so on but I had to make the photos look decent. Also, note my hairdo! I'm really proud of it, as I am following lots of hair tutorials lately!

The blouse is also a dear piece of clothing to me, even if this was the second time I have worn it. I got it last fall, when there was a total madness regarding the floral trend.
