The Pajama Trend

  • I have so many things to talk about in this post that I don't even know where to start from. Okay, I decided! I know it's a common fact but never ever try to take pictures when the sun is at its brightest! I thought that I could trick the light, but I ended up having these creepy shadows and posing in different corners of the street.

Also, you may find it funny that my only accessory is the latest issue of Vogue UK, but my aunt brought it from Prague and I've been practically glued to it ever since. You have to read the interview of Karlie  Kloss, who knew she's only 19 and such an enchanting person?

You may have noticed that the pajama pants are such a hit at the moment. I find this trend challenging, because you have to be really confident when you walk in this kind of outfits. I adapted this so it would match my style, by using an amazing Zara shirt I bought two years ago.

What do you say:  Does the outfit even gives you the idea of this trend?

  • Here we are, off to start a new week. This is going to be a particularly hard one for me as my holiday is over. Lots of tests, assignment again, a competition at the end of the week..ah, I'm not sure how I am going to cope with everything.

In the mean time, why don't you have a look at the latest addition in my closet? It's a swallowtail chiffon dress and it's DIVINE! I fell in love in the first minute I saw it online and I just adore the fact that you can dress it up in a feminine way or a minimalistic, urban mix. This time I paired it with some casual army accents and I actually liked the result!

Also, please don't forget that SheInside has prepared you a surprise! All my readers get a 20% discount if they enter the code 'Mary20' at checkout. The coupon is available until 30 May, how awesome is this?

'All you do is change your clothes and call that versatile'

In the last outfit post (MINT me!) I was talking about how versatile this plush sweatshirt from Zara can be. If I there I was sporting quite a casual and colorful outfit, here it is the central piece of a feminine ensemble, with all kinds of nude tones. I love being girlie, even preppy sometimes so this look defines me as well.

And well, once again that skirt you know very well haha. I just can't help myself, it's just the most comfortable and adorable piece and I feel just fabulous wearing it. Also, I'm in love with this fabulous bag I received from my aunt, uncle and cousins as an Easter present. It's from Accessorize and the color scheme and details are marvellous!

Now , the storyline of the photos: I always seem to find the worst moment to take pictures of my look. This time, I was heading with my family to a fancy restaurant and, while everyone was getting ready, there I was, on the stairs, asking literally each one to take one snapshot. That's why they came out all so blurry and from dfferent angles: I had many many photographers, for sure!

    Charmed

  • Hair style is the final tip-off whether or not a woman really knows herself. ~Hubert de Givenchy, Vogue, July 1985

I took this picture couple days ago and I sighed dramatically as always. I usually complain of how my hair is so straight and still and just when I needed it to stay in it's natural shape it magically converted into this pseudo wavy-in-the-end hairdo.

I love my hair, it's quite long and I would never dye it, but it seems it doesn't love me back!! Of course, there are tons of hair products but as I am in a rush I just tend to leave it in its 'unique' manner. Don't get me wrong, I love to have a feminine, even preppy look so I decided it is time for a change.

Remember one of my posts about the genius brand ghd? Well, after some further research (this meaning an interesting talk with some new friends) I found out that they have the best ceramic flat iron , that does a fantastic job no matter what kind of hair you have. It sounds tempting, especially regarding the fact they deliver worldwide. Also, it wouldn't harm my hair because using the straightener twice a week is enough as the key of their products is effectiveness.

Top brand, with Katty Perry as ambassador, good prices and actually a result? On the whole, I'm chamed!!

Any hair product/ straightener are you lusting over right now?

  • Oh, sorry for my long absence, I have been travelling for 7 days and I am finally home. Had a tough but also amazing experience , visited my beloved cousins and..had a shopping session at Zara of course!!

I have to say that I am OBSESSED with mint and, although I own an adorable shirt and a charming owl,  I just set my heart on these fabulous pants when I saw them! They even have golden zippers!

Now, there's the nude wedges. I have been searching for the right ones for 2 years now, I found them at Zara  too. The plush sweatshirt is just..I am speechless, I never thought I could find something with such a perfect fabric, which can be sporty, casual and feminine at the same time!

"All that glitters is not Gold."

  • I was telling you in December how obsessed I am with the glitter trend. Well,  time has passed, the trend is gone and I finally managed to own one sparkling and flawless sweater haha( I know, I'm like 3 months late). I consider it another fortunate happening as I actually won it after I entered the MOJA Giveaway. The fabric is sublime and the design is just impressive, it even has shoulder pads!

Another thing that I have started to love lately is the Elle Magazine. You know me, I'm a huge fan of Vogue Paris, but I find Elle UK so different and refreshing. I love how I find out in every publication about interesting people who are usually private and a rare presence in the eyes of the media, yet do some immense work for the fashion world. Not to mention the witty editorials and the great book recommendations!

Click for more glitters&sparkles and wish me luck(I'm going away for 5 days and I have mixed feelings about it)!
