''A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life.''-Coco Chanel

(Oh, how couldn't I include a photo of my new haircut in the moodboard?? At first I thought it would be just me bragging but hey- this is my blog and you have to put up with my weird moods- thank you for that, by the way!).
I want to go back to the lovely quote of Coco Chanel- I believe that what makes it so genius is its duplicity: it applies in the situations when you decide to make a radical change with your hair (like my BFF did one year ago- it was hard for me to get used to it but I have to admit she looks incredible!) and it's also a great way to comfort yourself after you cut a few inches just to keep your hair healthy.I'm in the second situation right now and I'm missing my long hair a lot (although my friends assured me that it's still long enough) and this quote just makes me smile!

Now, let's talk about the collage itself- I've been doing some reseatch ever since I write for TeenyStyle and I noticed so many cool clothes and trends that I just had to share my favourite selection around here as well. So, I will reveal my TOP 5 CURRENT OBSESSIONS:

Charlotte Olympia- Oh my, I could buy all the pairs in all the possible colors (even the kitten flats- cuteness overload!). I love the shades and how fun and unique her designs are!

Clash of prints (see Carven, Mary Katrantzou, Valentino this season) - A funny thing happened as I was writing this post- my mother walked in and said "Such a lovely dress!" . That's exactly what I'm talking about- I want to own two fabulous pieces with flawless prints which are also easy to combine (suuuure, I'll find them haha).

JCrew Necklaces- divine, creative and so many models to choose from!

Miu Miu wallet- It's one of my long-lasting obsessions (ever since I was 15) but I included this is the list because I love the new colors they have this season!

Lanvin Ipad case- so cool and creative, my Ipad would need a new 'outfit' but I want to focus on my closet this spring.

There you have it - what are you craving for right now?

  • Hair style is the final tip-off whether or not a woman really knows herself. ~Hubert de Givenchy, Vogue, July 1985

I took this picture couple days ago and I sighed dramatically as always. I usually complain of how my hair is so straight and still and just when I needed it to stay in it's natural shape it magically converted into this pseudo wavy-in-the-end hairdo.

I love my hair, it's quite long and I would never dye it, but it seems it doesn't love me back!! Of course, there are tons of hair products but as I am in a rush I just tend to leave it in its 'unique' manner. Don't get me wrong, I love to have a feminine, even preppy look so I decided it is time for a change.

Remember one of my posts about the genius brand ghd? Well, after some further research (this meaning an interesting talk with some new friends) I found out that they have the best ceramic flat iron , that does a fantastic job no matter what kind of hair you have. It sounds tempting, especially regarding the fact they deliver worldwide. Also, it wouldn't harm my hair because using the straightener twice a week is enough as the key of their products is effectiveness.

Top brand, with Katty Perry as ambassador, good prices and actually a result? On the whole, I'm chamed!!

Any hair product/ straightener are you lusting over right now?

    Oh, hairdos...

  • Me back in Summer, Budapest, August
Have you ever noticed that , when you look at a photo from last year all you see different is your hairdo? Like it or not, your hair always emphasizes your face in a different way. Of course, you may loose some weight or have dark circles under your eyes and then you just feel doing your hair differently, even changing it's color.

I was writing in my last post about how I am obsessed with all these unique hairstyles but let's think a little about the basics: you can't do spectacular things to your hair without professional hairstyling tools and different products.

I consider a good luck the fact that I've come across this lovely photoshoot, featuring Katty Perry. I wanted to know if it's an editorial in a magazine or a campaign, and I've managed to find out that it was a campaign for ghd and she is their ambassador:

And that is how I discovered ghd, a company , a brand, which provides  a wide range of  hair straighteners, hairdryers, hair products, pretty much everything you need to have a healthy hair and a gorgeous hairdo.

Regarding the brand, I love that they have an online shop and they seem to be delivering everywhere and it's really like wonderland, with all kinds of products, for all kinds of hair. If you click here I'm sure you'll find yourself  visiting all their categories and special offers, especially because they have a clean web layout.

I don't know about you, but I'm in love with their limited edition line of hair straighteners on different colors, which come with an unique clutch. I want all these clutches and the idea of a colored hair straightener, mine is old and boring(if you can call a tool boring haha)!!!

What about you, do you use any hair products or professional tools?
