Hello my dear readers, I'm so happy to blog again! I didn't have any issues with my laptop or anything, it's just that my visting schedule has been so crowded because there are so many incredible places to see in Tuscany! I took these photos in three places actually because we visited all of them in    one day! It was intense for sure, yet so incredible and rewarding!

Our first stop was San Gimignano, just the typical Tuscan village, with beautiful historical buildings, surrounded by loads of vegetation and with the most lovely residents! The second place was a widely popular city, Siena, where I was astounded by the Palazzo Pubblico and the central square, but also by the Duomo. I am really fond of all the Duomos and the Baptisteries after this trip in Italy, I can't even pick a favourite after seing the ones in Florence and Pisa (still, the 'gates of paradise' of Firenze's Baptistery will always remain in my heart ). In Siena I also found for the first time ''L'Officiel' Magazine. I am hooked, it's so bad they don't sell this magazine in my town, I really enjoy reading the current issue I bought!

In the afternoon it was about admiring the famous Chianti region. We stopped to eat in the famous Radda , where instead of buying pastas or pizza (which, by the way, are really the best in Italy!) I wanted two of their special torte (cake), one with forest fruits and a cheesecake, the best one I ever had because it is typically drier than American styles.

It was a whimsical day, and I also felt so incredible because I wore a super comfy outfit, with a colorlocking effect. The H&M cobalt dress is just the perfect dress for summer trips and the lavender flats were just a joy to wear, because all the streets were cobbled.

    The Tourist: Day 1 & 2

Hello there my dear readers, greetings from Ljubljana! I promised I would try to keep you updated and as I have an amazing internet connection here in Slovenia I thought this would be a great time to tell you what I've been up to in the last couple days.

Day 1 - I left my lovely town and arrived in Debrecen, Hungary. It was not my first time there so I knew  most of the places. I love Debrecen for its peace, traquility and the impressive variety of flowers. However, I was even more happy when we discovered a great Square yesterday. I didn't have my camera with me so I attached some of the Instagram photos I took with my phone in this post.

Day 2 -  I've spent a great part of today in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. I have to say that it's been the revelation of my holiday so far! I expected the great things to come in Florence but there is something whimsical about this little capital! Its arhitecture reminds me very much of Prague and I love its castle and cobbled streets.

My outfit is very comfy and not so fashionable but try to consider the fact that I've been travelling by car in the last few days. I tried a colorblocking effect though. I am so grateful for this incredible holiday, it's just the greatest gift I could get as I love travelling so much. Also, I love how I can talk in English around here!
I wish you all an amazing week!

I'm super tired as I am writing this right now, so I want to apologise for the potential mistakes. I wanted to post yesterday, after the Cambridge CAE exam, but I'm no superwoman. It was such an overhelming experience, and I still have the Speaking Examination on Sunday. There is one thing I know for sure: having this blog contributed a lot in my preparation for the exam. I feel more confident about what I have acknowledged and I'm now aware that I just love love love English!

Now, about the outfit of the day: This is my new dress from H&M, I love it how it somehow reminds me of cobalt which, by the way, is mentioned several times in the May Issue of British Vogue ! And you can finally see my magnificent bracelets- all of them!!! They're from New Look, a brand which I found super affordable and lovely and I am so happy there is one in Iasi , recently opened.

One more experience I want to share: when I arrived home last night I found three lovely comments (2 on Lookbook and one around here) and it just made me realise how much I love you all, because no matter how life can be, there are always going to be some people to comfort me around here!

    Mint Madness

Why , hello there! Shocked to see me posting so soon? I was going through my old posts yesterday (I  know, I can be a little nostalgic at times- yet it's so great to have an online archieve of all my trips!) and I noticed that ever since I saw the mint colour in the trend report I have been obsessing over it!  It all started from this post, then it was followed by this and this. Oh, but what about that one?

Well, my mint madness is still lasting and now I am the proud and happy owner of a mint dress!! I know you what you might be thinking: 'this girl does even know the shades? This is light blue!' but I can assure you it's actually mint. The thing is that when I shot the photos it was a really sunny day so that's why you can't see the colour properly. I promise to show you another ensemble with it though, in the near future.

I chose to wear it with my  mint (oh! what a surprise haha) owl necklace which is super cute. This owl has some incredible orange eyes, so I thought mixing this whole pastel look with some colorblocking accents like the bracelets, wallet and the belt. The flats don't match, I know, but I couldn't find my lavender toned ones so..you can't always wear a pefect outfit!

And...I finally found the sunglasses I have always been dreaming of!!! They are from H&M, vintage shaped and with leopard print.

    Attempt of a COLORBLOCK

  • I have praised the colorblock trend in so many posts lately, yet I have not shown any of these kinds of outfits! I just adore my striped tank top from Zara, which goes extremely amazing with my favourite bangles, at least in my oppinion! As for the bottom, I tought I should dress with something which would look good with the dark blue stripes, so I went for my favourite jeans. Once again, Zara rules my world!
And, although this post is write in a happy note, I can't help my sadness towards what happened with Amy Winehouse. I was a fan, I remember who me and some of my friends were listening non-stop on her songs when she launched "Rehab", and it's too bad she didn't know when or how to stop.

Well we got no choice/ All the girls and boys

  • Within the last few days, I felt like it wasn't summer anymore. Ugly weather and a considerable amount of water, I caught a cold, so I pretty much spent my time in shops (Massive SALES everywhere!) or in bed.

One thing that I have learned: rain is good for brainstorming!!! I have a lot of ideas for the blog, the fashion community in general , but it's up to me whether I'll  be able to get things moving or not. One thing for sure, I have to be more hardworking, because I feel that there is plenty to improove around here. Now, about the outfit:

The photos were taken just before I went ouside for a walk with my friends, because I looked in the mirror and I liked the actual result of the styling. I was confident that I would be able to take photos outside, but a heavy rain started, so I had to post these awful pics instead.

Nothing just too special related to this outfit. I wanted to wear my beloved Zara blazer but also keep a little of the colorblocking trend, so I wore my favorite scarf and matching flats. Also, my "awful" grey colored nails(as mom considers) were matched with the most confortable Zara grey blouse. Oh, also note my new owl ring, from C&A!

I woke up and went to the window. Raining as always...Why on Earth it's still this HORRIBLE weather in April? Not to mention I quite spend all my pocket money on taxis everyday because my little Balmain umbrella can't face such a non-stoping storm.
And still..what was good at this day? I checked my mail and saw that the lovely Alice from Alice&Sara-"Dulapul bunicii" wrote me that I should be receving my prize today. What prize you may wonder. Well, the amazing ladies thought they should organise a GIVEAWAY on Nookie's blog, which happens to be one of my favourites!
When I entered, I was 100% sure I wasn't going to win because, well... I'm not lucky at these kind of things so imagine how stupefied and happy I was when I picked the package today!!!
What did I receive? A funky/rock/urban chic headband which I'm gonna post in a few days and some feather earrings! And the thing that I loved most is that they're handmade and with such a high quality!

I wrote in one of my previous posts that I own a unique brand new peacock but I wasn't sure how to emphasize until few hours ago, when I saw these amazing accesories and I just think they were meant to be together, I mean, worn together, don't you think so???

    Thank you, Alice&Sara! :)
